Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.
Fall Week #3: Laura Parts
San Jose State University.
NCAA Division I. Graduated in 2020.
First reported by AVSR Global in 2015.
6'2" Middle Blocker.
Current Team: Istres Provence (France).
Home: Pärnu, Estonia.
Latest Action:
• Parts opened her first season in France’s Elite Feminine league with victories over EC Orléans and VB Romans 3-1 each.
• Istres Provence Volley, located near Marseille in southeast France, placed second in the league last year.
• Parts is in her third year of professional volleyball. She played for VFM of Switzerland last season after a year in Austria with VC Tirol.
• Parts doubled at San Jose State as a beach and indoor player. For the indoor team she played middle, opposite and outside hitter.
• Since 2014 Parts has been a fixture for Estonia’s national team.
• As a child Parts trained in gymnastics before focusing on volleyball.
