Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.

February 8, 2021: Paula Neciporuka

Latest Action:

• VCU charged to a 5-0 season record, with Neciporuka leading the Rams as the team’s top passer-hitter and its best server.
• Neciporuka and VCU are aiming for a fourth consecutive Atlantic 10 regular season title. The Rams are 46-3 against A-10 foes since 2017.
• Since her sophomore year Neciporuka has been among VCU’s leaders in kills, digs, ace serves and serve reception.
• In beach volleyball Neciporuka was among the world’s best junior players. She won the 2015 Under-18 European Championship.
• Indoors she competed for Latvia’s women’s and junior national teams.
