Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.

Fall Week #3: Ani Bozdeva

Coastal Carolina University.

Senior. 6'1" Outside Hitter.

Last Week:

• Bozdeva kept Coastal Carolina perfect in the Sun Belt Conference, leading the Chanticleers to two wins on the road in Georgia.
• CCU defeated Georgia Southern 3-1 and Georgia State 3-2.
• Bozdeva is CCU’s top passer-hitter this year. On the Georgia trip she scored 22 kills at .286 efficiency while posting 14 digs and 6 blocks.
• Coastal Carolina stands at 4-0 in the Sun Belt and is 10-4 overall.
• Bozdeva transferred from Eastern Arizona College to Coastal Carolina as a sophomore and was an immediate, six-rotation starter.
• At Eastern Arizona, Bozdeva powered the Gila Monsters to the junior college national championship tournament as a freshman.
• Bozdeva has played one season of beach volleyball at CCU. In Bulgaria she competed for the country’s indoor junior national team.
