Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.

Fall Week #1: Paula Neciporuka

University of Maryland.

5'9" Outside Hitter.

Graduate student.

Last Week:

• Do-it-all Neciporuka propelled Maryland to three sweeps and a 12-0 season record. It’s the Terrapins’ best start since 2005.
• Maryland shutout Akron, Stony Brook and Columbia last week. The Terrapins have won seven consecutive matches by 3-0 scores.
• Neciporuka is Maryland’s top receiver and server this year. She ranks second in kills and points while hitting at .258 efficiency.
• She has served 16 aces while committing only six errors this season.
• Neciporuka transferred to Maryland this year from VCU.
• In beach volleyball Neciporuka was among the world’s best junior players. She won the 2015 Under-18 European Championship.
• Indoors she competed for Latvia’s women’s and junior national teams.
