Fall Week #4: Luisa Nieto Gómez

Sophomore. 5'9" Middle Blocker.

Highlight: Has led Midland to a 16-2 record.

Last Week’s Action:
• Midland is now 16-2 after winning four of five matches. Nieto Gómez scored 23 blocks and 41 kills while hitting at .478 efficiency.
• Midland defeated Texas foes Clarendon, Lee, Victoria and North Lake but fell to San Jacinto 3-1.
• Nieto Gómez has been Midland’s top middle and best all-around player since she arrived last year as a freshman.
• Luisa’s sister, Gaby Nieto Gómez, starred at Midland in 2012-14. She moved on to be the top middle for Jacksonville University in Florida.
