Each week during the indoor and beach seasons, one player originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.

2014 Beach Week #6:  Andrea Tauai

Hillsborough Community College (Florida).
Home:  Greerton, New Zealand.

5'9" Sophomore.
Indoor Position:  Outside Hitter.

Last Week’s Action:

• Tauai capped her remarkable two years as the best indoor-outdoor player among American junior colleges.  She paired with Becca Conrad for three wins in four matches at the massive Fiesta on Siesta Key tourney, which drew entries from 32 colleges and universities.
• Hillsborough, led by Tauai, was Florida’s dominant junior college beach squad this year.
• As an indoor star Tauai led Hillsborough to a 41-5 record last fall and third place at the junior college national championship tournament.
• Her next move will be to New Mexico State University, defending champion of the Western Athletic Conference.  She committed last month to join the Aggies.
