Each Monday during the indoor and beach seasons, one player originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.

Week #10:  Kiriana Hirini

University of Alabama-Birmingham
Junior, Middle Blocker

Last Week’s Action:

• Hirini continued to excel as one of Conference USA’s best middles. She ranks among the league’s top four leaders in hitting efficiency at .369 and in blocks per set at 1.14.
• UAB defeated Texas-El Paso and Alabama A&M, both on the road. Hirini stuffed UTEP with seven blocks in the four-set win.
• As a beach player, Hirini reached last spring’s national championship pairs tournament.
