Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.
December 11, 2023: Tsvetelina Ilieva
Binghamton University.
America East Conference.

Senior. 5'11" Outside Hitter.

Latest Action:
• Ilieva was named Player of the Year in the America East Conference for the second consecutive season. She will start a pro career next.
• Ilieva was the AEC’s runaway leader on offense this year. She scored 4.22 kills per set (443 total) and 4.83 points per set (507 total).
• Five times this season Ilieva won the AEC’s Player of the Week award.
• Binghamton placed second in the AEC championship tourney after ranking third during the regular season. UMBC won both titles.
• Ilieva smashed Binghamton’s career and single-season records for kills per set. She averaged 4.04 kills per set in her two years at BU.
• Ilieva joined the Bearcats after two years at Seton Hall University. She followed her head coach, Allie Yaeger, who made the same move.
• In Bulgaria Ilieva competed for the Ahil Volley junior club. She trained at younger ages in basketball, rhythmic gymnastics and track & field.
