Latest Action:
• Clemson advanced to the quarterfinals of the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) as Tkachenko sizzled on offense.
• She scored 21 kills at .486 efficiency in first- and second-round wins. Clemson defeated Eastern Kentucky 3-0 and Ball State 3-2.
• The Tigers, now 19-13, are having their best season since 2012.
• Clemson will face Texas-El Paso on the road in an NIVC quarterfinal.
• Tkachenko transferred to Clemson this year from Oregon State, where she led the Beavers in kills and points over three seasons.
• In Ukraine, Tkachenko played two years in Superliga, the nation’s top women’s league. Her latest team was SC Prometey, the league leader.
• Tkachenko played for Ukraine’s national team at both the women’s and junior levels. She was a middle blocker before moving to the outside.
