2015 Sand Week #3: Anete Brinke
Long Beach State University.

Indoor Positions: Outside Hitter, Middle Blocker.

Last Week:
• Brinke beat Loyola Marymount and Saint Mary’s 2-0 each, partnering with Tyler Jackson. The pair leads Long Beach in wins this year with a 6-1 record, playing as the No. 2 seed.
• Brinke, a freshman, is Long Beach's top attacker and point scorer. She has 117 total kills, swinging at .478 efficiency.
• Long Beach is ranked fifth in the country. The 49ers won the 2013 national championship.
• Brinke was a starting passer-hitter for Long Beach’s indoor team last fall. The 49ers were perfect in the Big West Conference with a 16-0 record.
