Description & Analysis

•Quick, kinetic athlete and explosive attacker. She has high-level skills and experience, but she isn’t especially precise or consistent. Ready to play any net position as a freshman and has the athleticism to continue improving.

• Aggressive hitter with outstanding arm speed and a high, whipping swing. Can create a lot of offense, but she’s wild in the air at times and commits too many errors. Swings best on the right side. Attacks well off one foot on a variety of plays.

• Jumps from her right foot (backwards approach) as a middle hitter, as trained by her coaches since August 2012. She jumped from her left foot previously, playing LH and RH.

•Swift blocker. She’s light off the floor and has fast feet laterally. Reads and mechanics lack sharpness against elite offenses, but she posts some impressive blocks.

•Good ball control with an elite set of passing and digging skills, but she tends to have too little patience and too much frenetic energy. Makes big defensive plays occasionally.

•Has an active mind and an outgoing personality. Unfortunately, her enthusiasm tends to exceed her reliability. Eager communicator in Bulgarian and English.
