2014 Week #13:  Sonja Vasovic

Last Week’s Action:

• Vasovic boosted Siena to the Metro Atlantic league championship and a spot in the 64-team NCAA tournament.  It’s the Saints’ fifth MAAC title and NCAA bid in 10 years.
• The left-hander hit for 36 kills at .368 efficiency and posted 10 blocks as Siena defeated Canisius, Manhattan and Marist.
• In the five-set title match against Marist, Vasovic drilled 15 kills at a .419 rate.

Last Week:  The Colonial league’s Player of the Year led Hofstra to the CAA championship and into the NCAA tourney.  Wills is Hofstra’s all-time kills leader, now at 1,934 for her career.
